2. ARTS ADMINISTRATION INTERNSHIP

Responsibilities: Work with Founding Directors on all aspects of general operations administration. Under the supervision of one of the Founding Directors, the intern will assist with maintenance, inventory and ordering, and organization of the CPI library. Assistance with creating structures for organization, maintaining databases, website maintenance and other general office administration duties as assigned, including general accounting, and other duties as required will also be included.

This internship will offer insight into all aspects of being an administrator in a non-profit artist run centre and the opportunity to work across the various programming areas of CPI.

Requirements: Well organized with attention to detail; strong writing and research experience; strong communication skills with external parties and with internal CPI staff members; ability to work both independently and under structured supervision; strong interest in contemporary art and arts administration required.

Schedule: Minimum of one day a week. Part-time, flexible. Schedule can be adjusted for the right candidate.
