Responsibilities: Work with CPI’s Founding Director responsible for the development of exhibitions, and assist with the planning, execution and documentation of the upcoming exhibition program. Work directly with the Director to help develop the program structures for the long-term exhibition/curatorial program, while assisting in the management and execution of the remaining 2014 exhibition program. You will support the promotion, organization, and documentation of CPI’s exhibition events. This internship will offer insight into the curatorial and exhibition management aspect of a non-profit artist run centre.

Requirements: Professional demeanor and an up-beat attitude; Exceptional administrative skills and the ability to complete work in a highly organized and timely manner. Applicants should have an interest in curating, contemporary art, and arts administration; strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work both independently and under structured supervision. Experience with the following programs: Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, WordPress and any other creative software programs.

Previous gallery experience is a plus.

Schedule: Minimum of two days a week. Part-time, flexible. Schedule can be adjusted for the right candidate.
