Responsibilities: Work with Founding Directors on all aspects of event development, implementation, management and reporting.
Under the supervision of one of the Founding Directors, the intern will assist with conceptualizing and management of all CPI events (exhibition reception events, one off events such as a book launch, programming events etc).
Assistance with writing marketing content and populating social media outlets with event details. Liaising with event participants, renters etc. General office administration duties as assigned, including general budget management, stakeholder relations, media relations and other duties as required will also be included.
This internship will offer insight into all aspects of being an administrator in a non-profit artist run centre and the opportunity to work across the various programming areas of CPI.
Requirements: Well organized with attention to detail; strong interpersonal skills and event coordination experience; strong communication skills with external parties and with internal CPI staff members; ability to work both independently and under structured supervision; strong interest in contemporary art and arts event management required.
Schedule: Minimum of one day a week. Part-time, flexible. Schedule can be adjusted for the right candidate.
