Responsibilities: Work with Founding Directors on all aspects of marketing and communications related to the organization.
Under the supervision of one of the Founding Directors, the intern will be responsible for developing and coordinating marketing plans, establishing and managing production schedules and working with suppliers to ensure that materials are produced and delivered on time and on budget. You will also work with a CPI Director and other interns to develop timelines and promotional strategies for the CPI website and social media platforms. It will be key to ensure brand consistency across promotional materials.
This internship will offer insight into all aspects of being an marketing and communications coordinator in a non-profit artist run centre and the opportunity to work across the various programming areas of CPI.
Requirements: Knowledge of social media platforms and the development of marketing strategies. Well organized with attention to detail; strong writing and research experience; strong communication skills with external parties and with internal CPI staff members; ability to work both independently and under structured supervision. A strong interest in contemporary art and social media platforms will be key!
Schedule: Minimum of one day a week. Part-time, flexible. Schedule can be adjusted for the right candidate.
