HELP BUILD A GIANT SCARF FOR ST. ALBERT

As part of the celebration of StArts Fest in St. Albert this year Art Gallery of St. Albert (AGSA) is coordinating a collaborative fibre art-making opportunity for the community. We have been invited to be apart of this project!The project entails community members creating sections from fibre; knitting, quilting, weaving, crocheting, applique etc., these pieces will be combined to create a ‘Scarf for St. Albert’. This scarf will be displayed as a public art piece during the festival, in St. Albert form September 27 – 29How are we apart of this?
Creative Practices Institute will be sending one of our artists, Teng Chong to teach a short workshop in St. Albert! We will also be hosting a pilot project in our space welcoming artists to contribute to the collaborative public art installation. AT NO COST!RSVP ON FACEBOOK!
